Description:
Suppressed as too Zionist by the Communist Polish government, this film features the comedy team of Dzigan and Schumacher, together with children who survived the Holocaust. The comic actors play all the roles in Sholem Aleichem's Kasrilevke Brent (Kasrilevke Is Burning). They watch as these orphans perform for them. Yiddish with new English subtitles.
