Description:
Evėn Sh'siyah blends original music with lyrics taken form an array of classic Jewish texts. The band's musical influences are eclectic, and include folk, rock, Mid-Eastern and jazz. The band has integrated these genres creating a cohesive and unique musical soundscape of its own. Evėn Sh'siyah is Hebrew for "foundation stone." According to Jewish tradition, the original element of all Creation was this primordial stone, from which the entire world came into existence. This is Even Sh'siyah's second release. (2000)
